Cheryl a multifaceted artist draws, paints, embroiders and can turn her hand to most art mediums.

Following a climbing accident in 2009 when she could not sit at a sewing machine, she took to painting only to sell them all at her next solo. She also likes the immediacy of the ‘reward’ painting gives.

Painting also allows Cheryl to partake in exhibitions that seem to be biased against textile art.
